F.A. Motosport hvor jeg købte min SV1000 oplyser at jeg bør bruge en halvsyntetisk 10W40 olie, på denne skriver de at den er syntetisk baseret??? Hvad fanden betyder det? Er det så fuldsyntetisk eller...?

Umiddelbart lyder det som om det er en halvsyntetisk. Jeg ret sikker på at producenten ville skrive 100 % syntetisk/fuldsyntetisk, hvis det var det den var.
Halvsyntetiske olie har flere beskrivelser, herunder også delsyntetisk og syntetisk baseret, og dækker over at indholdet i en eller anden grad er syntetisk fremstillet.
