New Magura Hydraulic Clutch conversions for 2010

German control specialist Magura has expanded its range of HYMEC hydraulic clutch kits with applications for popular road bikes, including the Yamaha FZ6 (2007-2010), Suzuki SV650, Kawasaki Z750, Versys and ER-6F.

Originally developed for motorcycle off-road sport, the HYMEC system replaces the clutch lever and cable with a small lightweight hydraulic system for improved clutch control. Having been tested under the toughest conditions possible in the world of dirt biking this compact unit is more than capable of withstanding the demands of road going motorcycles.

Replacing the traditional cable with an hydraulic system has several benefits, which can significantly improve vehicle performance. It ensures an easier operating pressure, with a constant pressure point that allows the user to feel the point where the clutch releases and actuates. It also removes the need for cable adjustment and ensures that the clutch is at its optimum operating pressure every time.
