Tips til vedligeholdelse af poleret fælge:if you follow these simple steps, the wheels should retain their finish and provide you with many years of service.
- Always wash the road wheel with warm soapy water and thoroughly rinse off with clean water after use.
- Apply a thin coat of silicone spray or penetrating oil (WD40, Duck oil or similar) to the surface of the aluminium after every wash and ideally as frequently as reasonably practically possible. HOWEVER THE SPRAY MUST AVOID CONTACT WITH THE ROAD TYRE-THIS COULD CAUSE THE RIDER TO LOOSE CONTROL OF THE MACHINE! DO NOT SRAY ANY PROTECTIVE SPRAY ONTO THE ROAD TYRE,
- Do NOT clean the wheel with any form of acid or abrasive cleaner. This may cause deterioration or even affect the structural integrity of the aluminium and may be dangerous and may void any warranty
The wheel can be polished only using a suitable aluminium polish such as Solvo Autosol or similar.
